Welcome to the region’s finest community theatre. Experience professional-level theatrical productions, concerts and special events in this beautiful, 500-seat, state-of-the-art facility.
The White Theatre at The J, located in Overland Park, Kansas, is a professional-quality, non-profit theatre company, presenting the finest educational and entertainment opportunities in the region. We regularly hear from our audience members that our productions are of higher quality than other well-recognized professional theatres in the area, and even comparing us favorably to Broadway productions of our shows.
We are an inclusive organization, dedicated to building our community by providing exceptional shared experiences to audience members from all walks of life.

No refunds are available for purchased tickets.
We offer a full slate of amenities, including a fully stocked concession stand and bar, comfortable seating with wide row spacing, free surface parking within steps of the theatre, a wide range of completely accessible seating options (without stairs), and assistive listening devices upon request.
The beautiful Lewis & Shirley White Theatre is available for reservations for 501(c)3 organizations.
Rentals are available on a limited basis. Please fill out the Facility Rental Form below to begin the rental process. We also offer the opportunity to rent out the Theatre for a private performance.

The White Theatre FAQs and Facility Policies
Children under the age of two do not need a ticket and can sit on an adult's lap. Children who have celebrated their second birthday are required to have a ticket.
