What is HYROX Training?
HYROX training is centered around the HYROX Fitness Race whether you want to Get Race Ready or Just Get Fit! Through our coach-led classes, it's a functional circuit training workout that combines strength, cardio, and core conditioning using HYROX-inspired movements.
Endurance Volume
About half of the race is running, training involves getting that heart rate up through a variety of different modalities, focusing on conversational Zone 2 aerobic base-building alongside threshold pace work.
Functional Strength
Strength routines feature multi-joint compound lifts (squats, deadlifts, presses) with grip and posterior chain work.
Station Practice
Workouts target specialized movements used in a race course and varying substitution movements, such as sled pushes and pulls, burpee broad jumps, farmer's carries, sandbag lunges, box jumps, core work, wall balls and more.
Fatigue Transition Work
A key element of training is endurance immediately after heavy leg and upper-body fatigue to teach your body how to transition efficiently.
