Safe@Home is designed to be a 90 minute program for students in grades 4-6, facilitated by a SafeSitter instructor at the Jewish Community Center. This program provides students with important safety training that will help students develop proper safety habits for when an adult may not be around.

During this course we will cover indoor safety, outdoor safety, online safety and how to be safe with others. We will discuss how to prevent injuries and how to manage injuries in the event someone is hurt. Our emergency procedures create a clear guideline of how to react when situations may become emergent. We work in small groups to help foster the growth of confidence in our students to stay home alone.
