We offer a wide array of youth training programs made to accommodate a wide range of ages and ability levels. Just like adults, kids have different preferences when it comes to the type of youth fitness and teen workouts that appeal to them. The J offers intense youth training programs such as Meshugge CrossFit, speed and agility training, and low-impact youth fitness classes like our yoga program.

Get Your Teen Working Out at The J

Kids who learn the value of health and fitness early are more likely to maintain those habits as adults, which is why The J is committed to offering a diverse array of youth fitness programs. We provide a wide range of training options designed to suit ages 6-15, recognizing that young adults have different preferences when it comes to fitness. From intense programs like Meshugge CrossFit and speed and agility training to lower-impact options such as our youth yoga classes, The J offers something for every young athlete.

Youth Orientations

The J provides kids ages 12–16 with expert guidance from experienced instructors in a supportive environment, helping them build strength, flexibility, and agility while learning the fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle. Through programs like the Youth Fitness Floor Orientation, they also gain safe, hands-on experience with cardio and weight machines, reducing their risk of future health issues and fostering a lasting passion for fitness. 

Why does my child need to complete an orientation?

  1. Safe use of equipment introduction to fitness and healthy habits
  2. Fitness floor etiquette is addressed to ensure a positive and safe environment for all
  3. Injury prevention coached through correct body movement patterns
  4. Comfortability using the fitness floor
