J Camp 2026
J Camp is partnering with CampDoc.com for online enrollment and our electronic health record system. Updates to the CampDoc enrollment process in this past year will make the process more efficient.
Enroll in J CampCamp Schedule & Fees
Enrollment Opens in February!
In February, we will open up J Camp enrollment in the following Tiers:
- Monday, Feb. 2 at 7 a.m. - J Family Members currently participating in the Child Development Center (CDC) or The J After-School Program. Enrollment will close at 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 7 a.m. - J Family Members with full-time membership (Full-time membership must have been secured by Sept. 1, 2025)
- Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7 a.m. - J Family Members who joined after Sept. 1, 2025 (Memberships must be secured by Jan. 30, 2026 by 5 p.m.)
- Friday, Feb. 6 at 7 a.m. - J Camp is open to the rest of the community.
Tiers 1, 2, & 3 will be required to enter a unique passcode emailed to J Members the day prior to your tier's enrollment. Enter this code once you select "Register for a new session." DO NOT SHARE YOUR UNIQUE PASSCODE.
Prior to their enrollment day, families will receive a special link and unique passcode to enroll in J Camp with Camp Doc. You will need to use this link and passcode to find the enrollment information. J Camp staff will be checking all enrollments each day to ensure the above tiers are being followed. Those not enrolling in the proper category will be notified and unenrolled. They will then be placed on the waiting list on the day they are eligible to enroll. Membership categories will be monitored through the end of August.
Those enrolling prior to their Tier will be unenrolled and placed on the waiting list on the day they are eligible to enroll.

Preparing for Enrollment
- Review J Camp sessions and make a plan. It's also wise to make a backup plan.
- Be sure to review the CampDoc Participant Account Setup Guide.
- New to Camp Doc? Use this LINK to set up your account prior to enrollment.
- Create a login and password.
- Set up your account and create a profile for each of your participants.
- Already have a Camp Doc Account?
- If you wish to review your account, go to www.campdoc.com. Use your login and password to review and update your account. Make sure the credit card on file is currently valid. If you forgot your password, you can reset your password.
- Review the Enrollment Page on our J Camp Website. Be sure to review the Terms of Enrollment below.
Terms of Enrollment - J Camp
J Membership
- J Membership offers a significant fee discount and advantage in the enrollment tier process.
- In order to receive J Camp Member pricing, J Family Membership is required. Membership must be in place at the time of enrollment and while enrolled. Full-Time Membership must have been secured by Sept. 1, 2025.
- Families who are not J Members will need to enroll on the proper day for Community and pay the Community price. For more J Membership information contact Bobby Carrico at 913-981-8802 or Laura Hagenbuch at 913-327-8008.
Deposit - Initial Payment
- Camp Enrollment requires a signed online enrollment form and an initial non-refundable deposit of $75 per week.
- The deposit/initial payment applies to the cost of the Camp and is non-refundable except under the following circumstances:
- Illness or injury that prevents a child from attending Camp. The J reserves the right to require documentation from a physician.
- A change in circumstances that prevents the child from attending Camp. This will be evaluated by the Camp Director before a refund is issued.
Three Payment Method Options
- Payment in full at time of enrollment.
- Payment plan: Through CampDoc.com if you are not paying in full, you will be required to set up your monthly payment plan via EFT or credit/debit card. All payments must be completed by June 30, 2026.
- After Enrollment, if you would like to make a check or cash payment on your account, you can bring this to The J main office, and we will apply it to your account balance.
- Payments will display on your account statement as DocNetwork, Inc. (Ann Arbor, MI)
Changes in Enrollment
- All changes in enrollment (cancellation or switching camps) must be received in writing. For School-Aged Camp, please email J Camp Staff. For CDC Camp, please email Machaela.
- After April 1, 2026, an administrative charge of $30 is assessed for changes requested in Camp enrollment. Several changes can be made in one request. Changes include canceling or switching Camps. Subsequent changes will also be charged $30.
- In order to receive a refund, less the $75 deposit, the cancellation must be received in writing no later than May 1, 2026.
- There will be no refunds on cancellations received after May 1, 2026.
- Cancellations will change the dollar amount of your scheduled payment plan.
- Adding a Camp is not considered a change, and families are not assessed a change fee. A new payment plan will need to be set up to be paid in full by June 30, 2026.
J Camp Financial Assistance Available
Applications due by Tuesday, March 31
The Jewish Community Center welcomes all families to consider participation in our summer camp for kids. Families may choose to apply for Financial Assistance. Enrollment in J Camp is required for financial assistance requests to be processed. For questions regarding financial assistance, send an send an email to [email protected] or call 913-327-8220.
Health Information
All campers are required to have current health information on our electronic Health Information system, CampDoc.com. Families are able to submit camper information into a secure, online database, so Camp Staff can instantly access vital medical information. After you enroll for Camp, CampDoc.com will send a link to complete medical information, allergies, medication, and emergency contact information.
Those families who have already completed a CampDoc.com profile, will be able to update their prior information and sign the annual permission form. Licensing and accreditation require that we have families update the information before each camp season. All information in the health records is kept confidential and health details shared with staff only when necessary for proper care and safety.
Lunch
During J Camp, campers can choose to bring their own lunch or lunch is available on a pre-order basis to purchase (not available for Ma’asim Tovim Camp).
Campers with Disabilities
The Jewish Community Center is able to support a limited number of children with disabilities for J Camp, primarily through funding by Sasone and the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City. Sasone, a department of the Jewish Federation, provides critically needed support for children identified with developmental or physical disabilities to participate in a group in J Camp programs. With the help of Sasone, and other funders, we work with Staff to modify and adapt program experiences and provide Para support as available.
If your child has disabilities or requires assistance to successfully function in a group setting and wants to attend J Camp, before enrolling, contact the appropriate J Camp Director to request an application for Para assistance. In addition to the J Camp enrollment fee, families are asked to pay a portion of the Para cost. Space is limited. Financial assistance is available for Para support.
