There is a $25 fee to transfer classes and a $50 fee to cancel a class. No refunds are given within seven (7) days of the class start date.
Safety Instruction
As part of our ongoing commitment to serve the community with relevant programs of health, learning, and well-being, we offer a variety of classes to educate participants on water safety instruction, CPR/AED/First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification. Advance reservation is required.
Lifeguard Certification
15 yrs+ | This is an American Red Cross Lifeguard certification Blended Learning class which includes CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. The online portion will be sent out via email one week prior to the course. Once you have completed each section of the online class you will bring a completion certificate for your instructor.
Participants must enroll one week prior to the class start date to complete online course work.
Lifeguard Re-Certification
This is a review class intended to renew an existing lifeguard certification for another 2 years. This is a blended learning course, which means there will be e-learning content as well as one in-person skill session.
Please enroll 1 week prior to the in-person skill session to guarantee access to the e-learning portion prior to the in-person skill session.
CPR, First Aid, and AED Training
As part of our ongoing commitment to serve the community with relevant programs of health, learning, and well-being, we are offering CPR/AED/First Aid training classes! All classes are Blended Learning, meaning that most of the course will be conducted online, including the final exam. Online coursework must be completed prior to the in-person skill session.
Space for each CPR class is limited and advance reservations are required. Participants must enroll one week prior to the class start date.
This is a blended learning course, all online coursework must be completed before attending the in-person skills session. Online coursework will be emailed out 1 week prior.
Water Safety Instructor Training
15 yrs+ | Learn to teach children and adults to swim and give water safety presentations to kids and their parents. It’s a fun and meaningful job that’s in high demand. Plus, Red Cross certification is recognized nationwide so you can work anywhere in the United States. You must attend all classes for certification. Participants must enroll one week prior to the class start date to complete online course work.
