Joe Buchanan

Jewish Country

Texas native Joe Buchanan makes country music steeped in Torah and the trials of the human spirit. An exploration of faith ultimately led to Joe’s debut album, “Unbroken,” and since his conversion, Joe has toured the country, leading prayer, concerts, and workshops. A blend of Southern soul and country charm, Joe’s music is grounded in the belief that there is always more room at the table. “I think it’s more important than ever to celebrate our diverse culture and to do it with open doors and open hearts,” Buchanan said. “I’m honored to be part of Kansas City’s Jewish Culture Fest and to be sharing some Jewish country music with all the good folks who gather there. It’s been way too long since I’ve been to the Sunflower State!”
