Art Camp in Kansas City
Art Campers sharpen their creativity and gain new skills at this fantastic art camp in Kansas City. Budding artists will practice skills in a variety of mediums and be challenged according to their skill level. They will also go on an art field trip each week.
Sign up for one week or multiple weeks. There are several different Art Camp themes. Campers will create a variety of art projects each session. Art projects will be displayed at the Camp Art Exhibit on Friday afternoon.

Art Camp Theme Weeks
Under the Sea
Entering Grades 3-5. Dive into an underwater art world and explore the vibrant colors and fascinating creatures of the ocean! Campers will learn a variety of art techniques inspired by colorful sea life. Campers will create art using drawing, painting, and mixed media art techniques. We will go swimming each day, and participate in archery, STEM and other fun J Camp activities during the week. We will also go on a fun field trip.
- Week 1: June 1-5
Color-Palooza!
Entering Grades 2-4. Get ready to go crazy with color! Color-Palooza is designed for Campers who love to get creative and make a vibrant mess! Campers will dive headfirst into a world of bold hues, wild patterns, and colorful designs to create colorful works of art. We will go swimming each day, and participate in archery, STEM and other fun J Camp activities during the week. We will also go on a fun field trip.

Animal Adventures
Entering Grades 2-4. Go wild with creativity! Animal Adventures is all about bringing your favorite animals to life through paint, paper, and clay. Campers will explore the wonderful world of wildlife, from cuddly critters to exotic creatures, and express their unique artistic skills in creative projects. We will go swimming each day, and participate in archery, STEM and other fun J Camp activities during the week. We will also go on a fun field trip.

Space Explorers
Entering Grades 3-5. Blast off on a creative, out-of-this-world Art Camp! Space Explorers will travel to the farthest reaches of their imagination, creating stunning mixed-media masterpieces inspired by the wonders of space. Campers will get their hands messy and explore new artistic techniques as they learn about the mysteries of space, from shimmering galaxies to alien planets. We will go swimming each day, and participate in archery, STEM and other fun J Camp activities during the week. We will also go on a fun field trip.
- Week 4: June 22-26
July Jamboree
No Art Camp this week. Sign up for July Jamboree with fun activities and field trips. Also, J Sports & Rec Option: ½ Day Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, or Volleyball Camp & ½ Day July Jamboree.

Time Travelers!
Entering Grades 3-5. All aboard the Art Camp Time Machine! Campers will journey through the past, present, and future of art. From ancient cities to futuristic worlds, campers will get their hands messy. Campers will explore new artistic techniques as they create masterpieces inspired by each stop of our time-traveling trip. We will go swimming each day, and participate in archery, STEM, and other fun J Camp activities during the week. We will also go on a fun field trip.
