Swimming and water aerobics is a great way to maintain your health or get fit. Exercise in the water provides resistance for strength and toning while decreasing the impact on joints. AquaFit and AquatHIIT classes are free with your J membership.

AquaFit
AquaFit classes offer a low-impact workout with moderate to high-intensity moves incorporating a variety of stretches, strengthening, and cardio exercises. Props such as noodles, buoys, and belts are used to enhance each workout. Instructors will modify their workouts to best suit participants’ fitness levels.
Reservations are required.
Classes:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 8:30 a.m.
- Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. (AquaFit+)
- Saturday at 12 p.m.
- Sunday at 9 .m.
AquaHIIT
AquaHIIT may seem like an unexpected choice at first, but just wait until you take your workout off land and into the water! When we exercise in the water, we add resistance to the moves that we are performing, making them more difficult. Another bonus is that exercising in the water is low-impact. The key is to use near maximal exertion and perform as many repetitions as possible before you move on to the next exercise - with a rest in between, of course! Moderate to advanced fitness levels, and non-swimmers are welcome. Reservations are required.
