CDC NAEYC Accreditation
The CDC holds accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC accreditation for young children represents the mark of raising the level of quality in early childhood education programs. Quality early childhood experiences have an enormous impact on children's lifelong learning and positively contribute to their health and development. The CDC's mark of quality benefits children with greater readiness for and success in school. The CDC not only met the NAEYC program criteria, but in many core areas, exceeded the standards with a score of over 100%.

Heritage NISC Accreditation
To advance the quality of senior centers nationwide, the National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC) has developed nine standards of excellence for senior center operations. These standards serve as a guide for all senior centers to improve their operations today — and position themselves for the future. NISC also offers the nation's only National Senior Center Accreditation Program. Accreditation provides official recognition that a senior center meets the nine standards of senior center operations.
More than 200 senior centers have been accredited, and many more are in the process. Baltimore County, MD, is the first major metropolitan area to secure national accreditation status for all of its senior centers. National accreditation status is good for five years, at which time centers revisit the accreditation process.

J Camp Accreditation
J Camp of Greater Kansas City is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association. Developed exclusively for the Camp industry, this nationally recognized accreditation focuses on program quality, health, and safety issues, and requires us to review every facet of our Camp operation. J Camp is also licensed by the State of Kansas.
