Bio:
Back in CT, where I am from, I grew up watching (literally watching from outside of class) my mom take group fitness classes and that routine became my own as I got older. My own love for group ex really flourished as a young adult here in the KC area and eventually I was encouraged to become an instructor myself! After debating it for years, I became certified in 2019 when my oldest was 1 year old. I am married with three kids and love exercising! Most of my time is with my current 1-year-old these days, but I also work for a campus ministry organization part-time, and sub at other gyms too. I love rollerblading, eating, travelling (mostly to see family back east), going on walks with my husband or friends, and spending time with my church community of friends.
When in the classroom, I teach Interval Training, Strength, Bootcamp, Total Body, TRX, Cardio, Kickboxing, Barre, and Pilates, although these last two usually have a little more cardio and movement to them than traditional Barre and Pilates classes! I like to keep things moving, but have been integrating more slow and intentional breaths!
