Compete as an Athlete

Jewish teen athletes from around the world are key to making the 2026 JCC Maccabi Games® unforgettable. Contact your local JCC to find out how you can join the action at the Kansas City Games, happening Aug. 2-7, 2026!

Are you a Kansas City-area athlete? We want you to proudly represent our city and compete as part of the Kansas City JCC Maccabi Delegation!

Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in team or individual sports.

Athletes must: 

  • Be Jewish defined as:
  • Having at least one Jewish parent and the athlete is being raised Jewish
  • A Jew by choice and is being raised Jewish
  • Jewish teens between the ages of 13-17 as of July 31, 2026 to participate*
  • Born between 08/01/2008 and 07/31/2013
  • Local athlete families are required to be host families and host two (2) or more visiting athletes from other delegations in their home

*12-year-olds will be allowed to participate based on social, emotional, physical maturity.

Bowling, eSports, Pickleball, and Table Tennis must have eight participants for these sports to take place.
