Sunday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m. | Nerman Museum Atrium Gallery 

Mingle with friends and enjoy fabulous food and drinks in the Nerman Museum Atrium Gallery on the Johnson County Community College campus. All patrons who have made a gift to support KC SuperStar are invited to attend. Tickets to the Patron Party will be provided with your tickets to the Finals performance. Underground and surface parking is available near the Nerman Gallery Atrium or Yardley Hall. Both locations have elevators and accessible spaces.

KC SuperStar Finals

Sunday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. | Yardley Hall in the Midwest Trust Center

In its 17th year, KC SuperStar is an exhilarating “American Idol” style competition that awards a $15,000 scholarship to the most talented high school singer in the Kansas City area. Students from across the metro audition, with judges selecting 20-24 semifinalists who vie for the coveted 10 finalist positions. The Top 10 Finalists spend the summer preparing for a high-energy, professionally produced show where the audience, comprised of donors and guests, selects the top winners. Semifinalists and finalists are granted more than $30,000 in combined scholarship money.
