Our Contestants compete for the top 10 KC SuperStar Finalists spots on Thursday, June 4. Cheer on your favorite singer at the live show!
Now in its 17th year, KC SuperStar is Kansas City’s premier high school singing competition, “American Idol” with a local twist and a life-changing $15,000 scholarship grand prize.
Each year, talented students from across the metro area audition for a chance to be one of 20–24 semifinalists. From there, the top 10 finalists are selected and spend the summer honing their skills, preparing for a dynamic, professionally produced live show. It all culminates in an electrifying evening where an audience of donors and guests helps crown the next KC SuperStar.
In total, more than $30,000 in scholarships are awarded, helping to launch young performers toward their dreams.
Be part of the excitement—and the impact. Your support helps empower youth, celebrate creativity, and build a more vibrant, connected Greater Kansas City through the power of music and community.
Please consider bringing boxes of adhesive bandages (such as Band-Aid) for J Cares, a Maccabi project.
