Uncovering Stories: Earliest Jewish Neighborhood in Kansas City by Steve Cordell

Join us for an engaging presentation from community member Steve, who was born and raised in the Historic Northeast area of Kansas City, MO. As an amateur but engaged historian, he kept finding strands of Jewish history there. Nearly everyone told him he was mistaken, but he persisted and uncovered a forgotten Jewish past. Steve will share information and photos of the earliest Synagogue cemeteries. Bring your own knowledge as we dive into this neighborhood.
