Join us for an informative session designed especially for Johnson County seniors who want to stay engaged and make their voices heard. This presentation will introduce the Silver Haired Legislature (SHL), what it is, how it functions, and why it plays a vital role in advocating for older adults across Kansas.

Attendees will learn about the SHL’s current priority issues and how seniors statewide collaborate to promote meaningful change. By attending early in the 2026 legislative session, you’ll be equipped with the information you need to confidently reach out to your state representatives and senators.

If you care about the political landscape and want to understand how you can influence policy decisions that impact seniors, this session is for you.

Information will be presented by Norman Kahn, Jr.
