Though it is the middle of winter in Kansas City, the almond trees are preparing to flower in Israel, just in time for Tu B’Shevat. Join us at Village Shalom on Sunday, Feb. 1, from 3-5 p.m.

This annual event celebrates the arrival of spring in Israel and is celebrated with a festive meal of fruits, nuts, and other treats. Help us celebrate this unique holiday, and be there for the annual presentation of the Mitzvah Garden KC “Golden Trowel” Awards.
