Join Kinnor Philharmonic for its summer concert in the White Theatre at The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. Gershwin Rhapsody will be an inspiring, uplifting and fun afternoon of the music of George Gershwin and all of his genius. With world renowned pianist, Sean Chen, you will have the opportunity to hear Gershwin's famous "Rhapsody in Blue." As an extra treat, audiences will hear a rarely performed work for piano and orchestra; Gershwin's lesser known - however thrilling - "Second Rhapsody" for piano and orchestra. In addition, you will hear the heartfelt intimate sounds of his "Lullaby for Strings" and a resounding performance of world famous, "An American in Paris!" The music of George Gershwin - what's not to love?
