Details
Many hereditary conditions, including those associated with increased cancer risks and genetic diseases impacting reproductive health, occur at higher rates within the Ashkenazi Jewish population. Jewish tradition values the sanctity of life and emphasizes the importance of planning for future generations. Genetic screening can prevent or prepare families for the management of certain genetic diseases and empower individuals and couples with the knowledge needed to make informed medical and reproductive decisions.
We invite you to join Jewish Experiences, The Temple Congregation B'nai Jehudah, Congregation Beth Torah, and Congregation Beth Shalom for this special educational and screening event. This program has been generously funded by the Cortes Family Fund of the Jewish Community Foundation.
