Vivaldi, Weinberg & Tchaikovsky with KRISTINA REIKO COOPER

An afternoon of festive music to ring in 2025! Kinnor Philharmonic is in its 12th season, and is excited to bring to Kansas City, internationally acclaimed cellist, Kristina Reiko Cooper. With a musical mission of performing music of repressed Jewish composers, Ms. Cooper will perform Mieczyslaw Weinberg's "Fantasy" for Cello and Chamber Orchestra. In addition, she will perform Vivaldi's "Winter" and Tchaikovsky's virtuosic "Rococo Variations." All of our New Year's Day concert will feature music to celebrate Hanukkah!
