Join us for a community Purim event – Purim 1000! Held at the Jewish Community Campus from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, this family-friendly event will have bounce houses, carnival games, cotton candy, hamantaschen, and more!
- $18 for families of 4 or more
- $5 for adults (ages 14+)
- $4 for children ages 3-13
- Children under 3 are free
Below are a few details before you make your way to our event.
Dress in spaced-themed or other costumes!
PARKING & ENTRANCE:
- Parking will be available anywhere on the Jewish Community Campus grounds.
- You will only be able to enter Purim 1000, through the main entrance into the Jewish Community Campus or through The White Theatre entrance. There will be two lines for attendees, one for those who pre-registered and paid online, and a second line for walk-ins.
- Entrance through the Fitness | Sports | Aquatics will not be permitted and you will be redirected to The White Theatre entrance.
ACTIVITIES: Enjoy inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, carnival games, a DJ, and more! We'll also have a sensory friends zone to help those who may experience sensory overwhelm, brought to you by Sasone.
SNACKS & DRINKS: Popcorn, cotton candy, bagged snacks, water, and juice boxes are included with your registration!
In the spirit of giving (mishloach manot), Hamantaschen will be available at the exits. Please limit two per family.
We're excited for a wonderful event and ask your patience as we navigate the crowds
and work to ensure this is a safe and fun event for our entire community.
On Purim, it is a tradition to give (matanot l’evyonim) gifts to those in need. We encourage you to bring an item from the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry. For ideas on what you can give, please visit the JFS KC website.
