Suite New Year

Kinnor Philharmonic's 12th annual New Year’s Day concert will feature a play on words for a Suite and Sweet New Year! Join nationally recognized artist and former principal viola of the Kansas City Symphony, Christine Grossman to perform Ernest Bloch’s solo for viola and orchestra, Suite Hebraque (Hebrew Suite).

Our New Year's Day concert will also feature Israeli Composer, Marc Lavry - who is responsible for modern day orchestral Israeli music - in his suite for strings and Mojshe Winberg’s Sinfonetta which dips into the inspiration of Weinberg's time as a musician with the Polish Yiddish Theatre. The concert will open with Stravinsky’s delightful, festive and beautiful Pulcinella Suite.
