Copland's Westward Musical Expansion 

Join Kinnor in exploring the life and influences of beloved American composer, Aaron Copland. The son of Russian Jewish immigrants, Copland went on to write music that developed a quintessential American sound from the orchestra. We will explore and perform his "Variations On A Shaker Melody," Dances from "Rodeo," "Quiet City," and his story driven, "Billy The Kid" suite.
