The one-man performance “Eddie: The Friendship That Changed History,” Co-produced with Kansas City Actors Theatre and Sponsored by the Truman Library, tells the story of Eddie Jacobson, an Army buddy, former business partner, and lifelong friend of President Harry S. Truman, who was instrumental in helping convince Truman to support a United Nations resolution establishing the state of Israel in 1948.

“Eddie” recounts the fascinating true-life story of Jacobson’s seemingly impossible mission and the deep, long-lasting friendship between these two men.
