A Day of Learning: Community Symposium for Kansas City Area Jewish Professionals
Wednesday, May 17, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
KU Edwards Campus
This day of learning is for Jewish community professionals. If you have any questions, please contact Megan Pener.
There will be two options for signing up: full day (lunch included) or half day (lunch not included).
The symposium is open to all Kansas City Area Jewish Professionals and is generously funded by Menorah Heritage Foundation.
Featuring Keshet, For LGBTQ equality in Jewish life. Keshet is facilitating a day of trainings aimed at helping KC area Jewish professionals to develop their personal and professional toolkits in all ways to help better serve LGBTQ+ identifying members of our community. All participants will begin the day with a basic training introducing and explaining different concepts and terms around the LGBTQ+ community. After that, participants will be able to choose from different sessions on issues ranging from Allyship training to best practices for Jewish educators.
