Youth Art Class
Join us for youth art classes! The class will be an 8-week session on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Family Engagement Studio at The J. This class is for ages 6-12/Grades 1-5. Supplies will be provided. Register for one session, or multiple!

Instructor: Kimberly Flynn – Curriculum
Kim has been working with children for the past 15 years as an educator, photographer, party planner, and therapist. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy specializing in children and family and has since worked with many populations including community mental health, special education, and private practice.
One of the most personally rewarding experiences was her art instruction of cancer patients at University of Washington medical center. Kim’s goal is to help others develop a passion and appreciation for the arts, utilizing different media and activities as a positive outlet to express themselves.
Does your child have a creative spirit and love to make things? If so, an Art Birthday Party is for you! A customizable Art Party includes a guided craft activity, creativity stations, and access to a party room. The J provides all supplies, space and a party attendant to lead the craft activity. We offer many packages for you to choose from, and custom party packages are available. Ideal for ages 4-12.
