J Camp Financial Assistance

 
Instructions to Apply for Financial Assistance to J Camp

The Jewish Community Center uses FACTS, which is an electronic system for consolidating and integrating financial assistance information for camps and childcare programs, and J Membership when applying for these programs. The security, confidentiality, and privacy of your information and FACTS management site is secure, encrypted, and password protected.

Note: J Camp enrollment through Camp Doc must be completed prior to applying for financial assistance.

  1. To add activity or your existing online account or to create a username and password
    • Click: Start Here
    • Institution Signup Page: Search For Institution
    • Enter Zip code: 66211 and then click Search
    • Click on: J Camp
  2. Be sure to select the 16-17 term in order to apply for 2017 J Camp.
  3. Follow below instructions on J Camp landing page
    • Complete each page
    • Alerts will appear for any missing required information, which must be completed in order to move forward with the process
  4. Upload all required documents to your online.factsmgt.com account. Documents include:
    • Copies of your most current IRS Federal Form 1040, 1040A or 1040-EZ U.S. tax return, including supporting tax Schedules C, E, F, Form 4562 Depreciation and Amortization, if unavailable for the current year the tax return for the previous year is acceptable. Submit current year upon completion.
    • Copy of your most recent W-2 or 1099, for both the applicant and co-applicant.
    • Copy of all supporting documentation for household Non-Taxable income.
    • Support for Social Security Income, welfare, child support, food stamps, workers compensation, and temporary assistance for needy families (TANF).
  5. Choose all the camp sessions that your child will be enrolled in. Financial Assistance is only applicable to be used towards camp session fees, including early and late care.
  6. The application fee is a $30, non-refundable fee, paid online during the application process and does not count towards total camp fees. If you have applied with FACTS for the 2016-17 school year, you will not need to pay an additional application fee.
  7. Deadline for financial assistance is April 15th. Applications will still be accepted after this date, however, funds may no longer be available or could be substantially reduced.
  8. Return to www.online.factsmgt.com at any time to make changes/updates to your application or to upload additional documentation.
  9. Once all documents have been submitted, the application will go through a review process. Apply early, as it may take 3-5 weeks to complete the review process.
  10. Reminder: Submit your J Camp Enrollment online PRIOR to applying for financial assistance. Your child cannot attend Camp until financial assistance has been approved and paperwork completed.
