Youth Fitness at The J


Ages 9 - 15

The J offers youth fitness activities for children ages 9-15. With activities ranging from boxing to yoga and everything in between, we've got something for every child. 

 

Youth Yoga 

Ages 9 - 13


This basic Yoga class is designed to help all young yogis, regardless of their experience, improve their flexibility, balance, joint mobility & breath awareness.

Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:15 pm

Youth Training

Ages 9-13


Advance your child's strength, speed, cardiovascular capacity, mobility, power and more! J Youth Training will help take their performance to a new level on and off the field or court. 

Agility. Increase mobility, foot speed, and lateral movement.
Speed and Reaction. Improve total body power and muscle endurance.
Conditioning. Increase durability. Decrease recovery time.
Power. Increase strength while maintaining accuracy.

Youth Personal Training

Ages 9-15


Train like a pro! Sport-specific performance training helps develop Speed Power Agility Reaction Quickness and weightlifting foundations work to develop strength. Youth Personal Training also improves physical and mental conditioning.

JBox Kids 

Ages 9-13



This non-contact boxing class will introduce kids to basic boxing fundamentals, as well as help develop valuable life skills such as self-discipline and mental focus. Classes are 45 minutes long and accommodate youth of all skill and fitness levels. Boxers work on conditioning, core strength, and heavy bags.

Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:15 pm

Get Your Tween/Teen Working Out at The J

Ages 12-15


The Youth Fitness Floor Orientation (YFFO) provides 60-70 minutes of individualized instruction on how to use the core cardio equipment and Cybex strength training machines found on The J fitness floor. Included in this orientation is a starter workout plan complete with basic information on proper techniques for each exercise. Those that complete the YFFO, are permitted to utilize The J fitness equipment without direct parent supervision (excludes Technogym and free weights).
