Secrets of the Shofar

Kanterovitz will explore little known and mystical meanings of the shofar service on Rosh Hashana. Accompanied by an opening of our unique display of hand-painted shofars and music for the holidays. FREE; no registration required and you may bring your own lunch.

Rabbi Kanterovitz and musician Itamar Shiloh team up to provide a live performance and brief history of music in Jewish tradition. FREE; no registration required.

ScaVentures Israel Scavenger Hunt

Travel to 10 different parts of Israel through photos and clues to complete a top-secret scavenger hunt mission. Finish with a quiz, beer, and bar food, as well as, music by Itamar Shiloh. Activities will require at least one person on the team to have a Smart Phone. Teams can consist of up to 8 people. Don't have a team? No worries, we can get you on one. Rabbi and Educator Chaim Kanterovitz

 Rav Kanterovitz is the Senior Rabbinic International Educator at Ohr Torah Stone leading the Department of International Rabbinic Connections.
Rav Chaim has served in the rabbinate for over twenty years in the United Kingdom and South Africa. He studied at Yeshivot in Israel where he received his rabbinic ordination and completed his army service in the Hesder program. He holds a B.A in Psychology and International Politics, an MA in Jewish Studies, and is currently studying towards Dayyanut (advanced rabbinic ordination).




Arts Ambassador Itamar Shiloh

Itamar is an accomplished pianist, trombonist, and musical director. After serving in the Kfir Brigade of the IDF, he studied music at Mizmor, the only religious Advanced School for Music in Israel. Itamar teaches at Mizmor and is the musical director of “Hachalutzim”, an ensemble which combines traditional Israeli classics with current music trends. He has performed on a number of Israeli albums and regularly tours with musicians regularly.



Founder + Director of Israel Scavengers

Tali is Founder and Director of Israel ScaVentures and author of ScaVentures Jerusalem: The Experiential Guidebook.
Bringing years of experience in curriculum development, teacher training and offering educational websites and experiential programs, she founded Israel ScaVentures, a tour game company aiming to educate, engage and inspire people in the story of Israel. Over 20,000 people have participated in ScaVentures since its founding in 2010.
