Summer Intensive

The Encore Summer Intensive is for students ages 9 and up who want to continue to push their dancing to the next level.  The intensive will provide dances with ballet, weight training, yoga, improv and choreography in a fun, safe environment. 

August 5-8 from 12:30 - 4:15 pm  $175

Parent + Me Dance

Children will come and enjoy a structured class with their grown-up (moms, dads, nannies, etc.) 8-week session.

Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4 pm Studio 2 & 3

Creative Movement

For ages 3-4. Combining fun music, props, and ballet basics, students will enjoy learning through imagery, movement, and play. Ballet shoes required.

Tuesdays from 2:15 - 3:00 pm in Studio 3 or Wednesdays 3:15 - 4:00 pm in Studio 3

Pre-K Combo

Combing fun music, props, and ballet & tap basics, students will enjoy learning through imagery, movement, and play. Ballet shoes & tap shoes required and are available for order.

Mondays from 2:15 - 3:00 pm in Studio 3 or Tuesdays 3:15 - 4:00 pm in Studio 3 

Kinder Tap + Ballet + Jazz

Kindergarten students learn the basics of ballet, jazz, and tap. Girls need pink ballet shoes, boys black ballet shoes; all need black tap shoes. All students must wear dance attire.

A Note About Levels

Dancers are placed in classes based on a combination of dance experience and age. We use the following age range and take dance ability into consideration, as well:

  • Level 1: 1st-3rd Grades
  • Level 2: 4th-7th Grades
  • Level 3: 8th Grade +
  • Acro levels are based on age and the requirements of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus

Level 1 Tap + Ballet + Jazz

An awesome class to get those feet moving and bodies groovin’! Students are exposed to ballet, tap, and jazz. Open to both boys & girls, all students must wear dance attire.

Wednesdays from 4:30 - 6:00 pm in Studio 3

Level 1 Lyrical

Lyrical combines elements of ballet and jazz to develop expressive, strong dancers. Recommended for 1st - 3rd graders.

Thursdays from 4:15 - 5 pm in Studio 1

Level 2+ 3 Lyrical 

Lyrical combines elements of ballet and jazz to develop expressive, strong dancers. Recommended for grades 4th-8th. Dance attire and dance shoes required. Hair must be pulled up.

Mondays from 5:00 - 6:00 pm in Studio 3

Advanced Ballet

Students focusing on technique, strength and continued growth. Recommended for 4th grade and up. Dance attire and dance shoes required. Hair must be pulled up. 

Mondays 6:15 - 7:15 pm in Studio 3 or Thursdays 6:30 -7:30 pm in Studio 3

Advanced Jazz + Hip Hop 

Class recommended for 4th grade and up. Students will need tan jazz shoes. 

Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30 pm in Studio 3 

Level 3 PrePointe 

Students must be enrolled in advanced ballet twice a week and have teachers permission to enroll in PrePointe. Pointe shoes will be earned by the instructor's judgment. Dance attire and dance shoes required. Hair must be pulled up.

Performance Team  

Performance Team is a class available for students in 1st-8th grade. The group performs 4-5 times throughout the year in the community. The goal of the group is to build our confidence in our performance ability, as well as to share the joy of dance with others. Students must be enrolled in at least one other Encore class to participate in Performance Team. Performance Team focus on the dance and does not work on technique during rehearsal times. The students on the Performance Team are seen as leaders at our studio. They must lead by example and know that they are a part of a team. Students are expected to be in class, and may not miss the rehearsal before a performance or they will be asked to sit out the performance. Performance Team costumes are provided for a rental fee. All students must have tan slip-on jazz shoes. Dance attire and dance shoes required. Hair must be pulled up. Audition required.

AUDITIONS - Sunday, June 2nd or Thursday, July 25th | 4:30 - 6 pm in Studio 3 | Cost: $5

Competition Team 

For students who want to compete in dance locally and regionally: solos, duos, trios, and possibly small groups. Extra rehearsals/private lesson fees, choreography fee, entry fees, costume & make-up fees. Students will participate in 2-3 competitions during 2nd semester and highest scoring solos will perform a recital as well as team pieces. Competitions take place on the weekends. Please contact Maggie for the competition packet to inquire about fees, scheduling and additional requirements. Audition required.

Acro/Tumbling

Encore is certified in Acrobatic Arts, a nationally recognized tumbling and acrobatics curriculum for acrobatic dance. Focusing on 5 elements- strength, limbering, tumbling, balance & flexibility- students develop skills in a safe and well-balanced way.

Creative Tumbling

For ages 3-4. Focuses on Acrobatic Arts, Primary level.

Acro Level I-II (1st-3rd)

Acro focuses on 5 elements - strength, limbering, tumbling, balance & flexibility. Our students work on these elements as well as gross motor skills. Recommended for 1st-3rd grades. Students will need dance attire and no shoes for acro classes.

Mondays from 4:30 - 5:30 pm in Studio 2 

Acro Level III (4th-7th)

Students will work on Acrobatic Arts, building on the 5 elements - strength, limbering, tumbling, balance & flexibility. No shoes, hair pulled up and dance attire required. 

Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:30 pm in Studio 3

Pom(1st-3rd)

Students will work basic cheer stunts and tumbling, including jumps, lifts, and choreography.  Hair pulled up and dance attire required.  Please bring tennis shoes.  Poms provided.

Adult Tap

Dust off your old tap shoes or come try it out for the first time! Drop in for $15 per class or sign up for the whole session!

Music

Private Music Lessons

Piano / Harp / Steel Drum / Violin / Guitar

Encore! offers private music lessons for students of all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced students. Our music lessons are all private one-on-one instruction to ensure understanding and focus for the students. The lessons are 30 minutes long and meet weekly. Students can choose their own course of study, from the piano, harp, steel drum violin, and guitar*. If you are unable to attend your private lesson, a make-up class can be scheduled, given 24 hours in advance. Any “no-shows” are not available for makeup classes. Students will have the opportunity to perform in an informal showcase in December and May. Our Lessons are all private however parents are welcome to sit in on their child's lessons. Private Voice Lessons

Our voice lessons are all private one-on-one instruction. Students sing all kinds of music from classic tunes to their favorite artists. Students will learn how to breathe properly, how to increase their range, proper pitch, how to project and stage presence. The lessons are 30 minutes long and meet weekly. If you are unable to attend your private lesson, a make-up class can be scheduled, given 24 hours in advance. Any “no-shows” are not available for makeup classes. Students will have the opportunity to perform in an informal showcase in December and May. Our lessons are all private however parents are welcome to sit in on their child's lessons.

Trial + Drop-in Classes + Late Enrollment + Attendance

Not sure if your child is ready for dance/tumbling yet? Drop in for a trial class, for only $15. After your child has experienced a class and decides they would like to continue dance or gymnastics, their drop-in fee will be applied to their full enrollment fee. Students who join late will be charged the drop in rate per class for the remaining semester.

Students enrolling late for the semester or students who miss more than 2 classes a month may be required to purchase and participate in additional private lessons to catch up with the progress of their classmates.
