Ben Hecht was a legendary playwright (The Front Page, Twentieth Century) and screenwriter (Nothing Sacred, Wuthering Heights, Gone With The Wind) who used his skills as a newspaperman to be one of the first American journalists to write about the Nazi atrocities during World War II. Using Hecht's own words, Sherman presents the wit and wisdom of this important artist and social activist.

About The White Theatre
Welcome to the beautiful Lewis & Shirley White Theatre, a state-of-the-art, 500-seat performing arts community theatre in Overland Park, Kansas. We opened the doors to our gorgeous facility in 2005 following a rich history of theatrical productions at the Resident Theatre dating back to the 1930s.
