About The White Theatre
Welcome to the beautiful Lewis & Shirley White Theatre, a state-of-the-art, 500-seat performing arts community theatre in Overland Park, Kansas. We opened the doors to our gorgeous facility in 2005 following a rich history of theatrical productions at the Resident Theatre dating back to the 1930s.
Our seasons feature exquisite productions for every taste, representing a variety of genres: Broadway shows, visiting artists, music + dance, inventive visual arts + literature presentations, and our Artist-in-Residence Kinnor Philharmonic. Whether you’re Jewish, a J Member, or neither, there’s always an exciting choice for you, and your family, to experience and enjoy. We make the magic of live theatre accessible to all patrons.
The White Theatre at The J is an accessible facility - we make every effort to provide an enjoyable experience for all of our patrons. Assisted Listening devices will be available for all performances and many shows include our signature Open Captioning services.
