Sukkot is a joyous historical and harvest holiday. This holiday is marked by the construction of temporary outdoor huts or sukkot (sukkah is the singular). Family and friends gather for meals and more traditionally, live in them temporarily.
These open and insecure structures remind us of when the Hebrews wandered in the desert on their way to Canaan, while causing us to consider our own vulnerability. Keep an eye on social media to see The J's sukkot come to life.
